Couponing can be a scary tough, I know this from my own experiences! From clipping to sorting & finally putting that coupon to work for you, but couponing doesn’t have to be a scary or daunting situation. On the contrary, couponing can pay-off big if you use a few smart strategic scenarios to save the most when using them. Today, I wanted to share with you four easy couponing tips I have learned along the way.
Step 1: Where to find Coupons?
Coupons can be found everywhere, I am not exaggerating! Your number one source of coupons is the Sunday newspaper but if you are not into collecting & sorting coupon from the newspaper, you can always find coupons while you shop. From “Blinkies” to in-store coupon booklets your grocery store is a great resource for finding great coupons.
Step 2: Think small!
To get the best bang for your coupon bucks, buy the smallest size that your coupon allows. Better yet, if your coupon doesn’t restrict travel sizes, then by all means this would allow for really inexpensive items or even product overage that can be used for non-coupon related items.
Step 3: Don’t forget your e-coupons!
e-coupons are a great way to increased your savings. Many stores offer e-coupons that can be combined with paper coupons, for example here in Florida, Winn-Dixie, CVS, & Publix offer e-coupons. e-coupons are easy to use, just load them up to your store’s loyalty card & the coupon will be automatically deducted from your total at checkout.
Step 4: Carry Your Store Coupon Policy when you shop!
Store’s coupon policies varies from area to area, it is extremely important to understand your individual store’s coupon policy & also bring a copy with you when you shop.
