Simple snacks are essential for keeping up with your kids’ school schedule. Make school days less hectic with our Back-to-School Snacks Made Simple ideas.
Summer zipped by so quickly this year and I don’t know if it was because we were all busy with summer activities or it was because we were having too much fun creating amazing family memories. Anyhow, with Back-to-school only days or for some of us, only hours away, I decided that there was no better time then to head to my local BJ’s Wholesale Club and stock up on our go-to products for our Back-To-School snacks. If you are a parent you know that the back-to-school season is quite hectic and we really don’t need to add more to our load during this period, therefore, I have come up with a few simple helpful ideas to make snack time a bit easier.
Back-to-School Snacks Made Simple
As you may already know, I have three young children all under the age of 12. Yes, that may sound fun but not when they have to sit down to get homework done after school. For one reason or another, when my kids get home from school they are utterly hangry. Yes, you read that correctly, hangry. If you are not familiar with the concept, hangry is a state of anger caused by hunger. So, to avoid any further whining about homework time, we always keep simple back-to-school snacks handy.
At home, some of us have food sensitivities and some of us have food allergies, so to make sure I cover all the bases, I make sure I read all labels and also take the time to understand the symptoms that can occur when something we eat doesn’t agree with us. So, how do I make Back-to-School snacks simple? Some of our favorite products to serve the kids are quite simple. We serve them things such as milk and cookies or cheese and crackers or yogurt and fruits or sweet and salty crackers or their ultimate favorite snacks, nuggets and dip.
As I mentioned above, all these snacks can be easily found at your neighborhood BJ’s Wholesale. The best part is that BJ’s listen to their customers and now their own new Wellsley Farms labels allergens are in bold to make them stand out. And if that wasn’t enough, you can also find a bold sentence indicating if an item contains allergens or if it might contain allergens because these were present in the facility where it was produced. Win-Win for everyone, right? So, tell me how do you make Back-to-School snacks simple? Share with us your tips and tricks by dropping us a note in the comment section below.
Disclosure: This post is brought to you by BJ’s. All opinions are 100% my own.

Simple snacks are the best snacks. Fruit with a simple dip is one of the snacks I served my kids when they were growing up. I really like the idea of serving nuggets and dip too. And milk and cookies are always a good choice.

Honestly by the time my kids get home from school it is practically dinner time. They have to get up so early to meet the bus that we do everything early (dinner and bedtime mostly). But when we do have time for a snack it is usually something like fruit or yogurt.
