Family Fun Day at Jungle Island’s New Floating Water Park!
Jungle Island is one of South Florida most popular destinations and one of our favorite places to visit to have fun. Today, we were fortunate to have been invited to experience Jungle Island’s newest featured addition. In honor of Jungle Island’s 11th year anniversary, they have unveiled their beach transformation, which main feature is a floating water park. Although we live in Miami, we don’t frequent the beach and this is my fault, I am not a big fan of the sun (shhhh, don’t tell anyone :-)) but summer calls for splashing in a warm sandy beach and the kids were itching to experience the new water park.
Jungle Island’s new luxurious beach oasis feature lounge chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, food and drink service, as well as the exciting new floating water park, Sports Park 60. Jungle Island private beach is the perfect place to relax while the kids enjoy the new water park.
Jungle Island’s private beach transformation crown jewel is the floating park and its top-of-the-line Wibit equipment including the massive Sports Park 60. The water park consists of balance beams, action tower, trampoline, bridge, cliff, high jump, catapult, slide and swing. Doesn’t the new water park look like fun? Well, it is fun and the best part is that certified lifeguards are available throughout the massive sport water park, Jungle Island does limit 60 people per hour at the water park. One thing to note is that kids under 10 must be accompanied by a parent, so if you are planning of participating with little ones under 10, make sure there is one adult per every child under the age of 10. Jungle Island’s park admission into Jungle Island includes access to Parrot Cove, which includes access to Jungle Island’s private beach. There is a nominal fee to use lounge chairs, umbrellas, cabanas and the water play activities.
Another addition to Jungle Island’s summer entertainment is Africa Nights, which will be ongoing through August 10. African Nights consist of a troop of 12 talented African performers from Cirque Zuma Zuma that will provide visitors with non-stop entertainment. You will be entertained by Cirque Zuma Zuma’ performances including human pyramids, Zulu dancers, pole climbers, percussionists, and much more. Each day, Jungle Island will feature impressive shows every 15 minutes starting at 3 p.m., and will close with a grand finale beginning at 8:15 p.m. in the Parrot Bowl. Although, we didn’t get to see the African Night show today, I cannot wait to go back to Jungle Island to see it personally.
