Keep the kids entertained and be the best virtual camp director with these 8 Weeks of Fun Virtual Summer Camp Activities with Warner Bros.
We’ve partnered with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment to create the content found in this blog post. The opinions I share are my own.
What is the best part of summer break? Well, besides sleeping in. 🙂 I think a lot of us would have to agree that summer camp is the best part of the summer break. Right? This is why I was thrilled when my family and I were invited to join the virtual Camp Warner Bros. this year. Over the next 8 weeks, the kids and I will be having a whole lot of fun completing summer camp activities like crafts, as well as, watching some amazing movies all focus around a weekly theme. The best part is about joining the Camp Warner Bros. is that we will be sharing all these fun activities right here so that you and your family can join in the summer fun!
Week #1: Super Hero Training Starts Today!
This week’s theme is super-hero training and it starts today! So, to kick off the week, my kids and I will be doing fun shirt tie-dye activity and watching an awesome new movie. Stay tuned for our tie-dye t-shirts results by following us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram where we will be sharing more fun and be sure to come back throughout the next weeks to check out the other fun summer camp activities and entertainemnt.
To get us started, Warner Bros. sent us some cute camp t-shirts, mine says “Camp Director” on the back. How fun is that, right? 🙂 They also sent us some awesome hats, which will come in super handy because South Florida’s summer weather is steamy, to say the least! Finally, to complete this week’s activity, we also received a nifty tumbler to help keep us hydrated, a fun beach towel that will be put to good use next time we venture to the beach, and a fun tie-dye kit to customize our camp t-shirts.
LEGO® DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters Movie
To celebrate this week’s theme, the kids and I will also be watching the new LEGO® DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters movie. In this brand new movie, Batman will show your kids what it takes to be a Super Hero! He will offer training tips with fun games for our campers including, “Batman Says,” “Super Hero Freeze,” “Memory Challenges” and more!
10-year-old Billy Batson shouts a single word and, with lightning bolts flashing, he transforms into Shazam!, a full-fledged adult Super Hero. It doesn’t take long for Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and the rest of the Justice League to take notice and invite the earnest do-gooder to join the team. But to become a member, Billy must reveal his true identity. While fighting off the evil Mr. Mind and Black Adam, Billy learns that he must trust others – and that nothing creates trust like helping those in need. Join the good fight with this giant-sized LEGO DC adventure!
LEGO DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters is now available to purchase where all movies are sold, including online on Amazon here and on Movies Anywhere. LEGO DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters has the following special features (Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD):
