I refuse to let summer go. There, I’ve said it! For us, school begins next week and I am not ready for my schedule to be filled with homework assignments, projects, after school activities and sports meets. I honestly, love how easy the Summer season is. However, since we cannot stop time. This week, I decided to get ready for after school snacks by getting a few extra ingredients to make snack time a bit less hectic. 🙂 I don’t know about your kids, but as soon as my kids walk through the door, they are asking for snacks. Therefore, keeping items to prepare easy snacks handy is extremely important.

Apple Slices and Cereal Snack!

Okay, so if you are in the same situation, here is a quick and easy snack that both you and your kiddos would love. The best part is that this recipe is ready in a few minutes. To make these delicious Apple Slices and Cereal Snack, all you need are three ingredients.

  • Your favorite Cheerios cereal.
  • One apple for everyone.
  • Peanut butter, Caramel, Chocolate or Dulce de Leche.

Yes, it is that easy. And to make Apple Slices and Cereal Snack all you need to do is:

  1. Cut your apple into slices.
  2. Spread some peanut butter, caramel, chocolate or dulce de leche on your apple slices.
  3. Top your apple slices with your favorite Cheerios cereal.

You see how easy that was? Your kids get a quick snack and homework will get done faster. 🙂 As you can see, Cheerios cereal can be used for more than just for breakfast. By adding Honey Nut, Original, Banana Nut, Frosted, Multi-Grain, Multi-Grain Peanut Butter or Apple Cinnamon Cheerios to your favorite fruit, you can definitely spice up your snack time.
