Last Thursday, we spent an entire afternoon shopping at Sawgrass Mills Mall. Although, this may sound expensive and exhausting, we had an amazing time shopping there for our first time ever and maximizing our Back-To-School savings there. Sawgrass Mills is the largest outlet and value retail mall in the United States and located in Sunrise at 12801 West Sunrise Blvd. The mall houses over 350 stores, so we were able to find everything we need for the Back-To-School season. The best part is that at Sawgrass Mills, you will be able to find everything from the latest electronics to the hottest fashion for ever single member of your family.
With our Sawgrass Mills coupon booklet on hand, we stopped by the PUMA store to purchase the boys school shoes. Having two very active boys, we need to purchase durable shoes that can withstand everything the boys put their shoes through, so stopping by the PUMA store was a no brainier. Shoes were not the only item in our Back-To-School shopping list, so we stopped by J.Crew and The Children’s Place to get school Polos and long Khaki pants for the boys. We decided to stop by The Children’s Place because we knew we can maximize our savings and get a lot for our money, currently they are running their Place Cash promotion, were you receive $10 Place Cash for every $20 you spent. Another must have items this year were belts, wallets and school backpacks. Since, Sawgrass Mills mall houses the largest Forever 21 store in the South Florida area, we knew we had to stop by there to get those items.
Because Back-To-School doesn’t only means going back to the classrooms, it also marks the beginning of your kid’s extracurricular actives. We couldn’t stop at just uniforms, so we also had to get the boys shorts and graphic tees that they can wear after school and to their soccer practices. We also got some necessary socks, underware, undershirts and PJ’s.
Don’t forget to take advantage of this week’s Florida Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday, you will automatically save 6% on clothing, footwear, school supplies and even personal computers. For a complete list of tax exempt items, please visit the My Florida Webpage here.
While at Sawgrass, we also stopped by many of the exclusive stores only available at there, such as: bareMinerals, Catimini, Columbia Sportswear, Desigual Outlet, Diesel, Disney’s Character Premier, Kate Spade New York Outlet, LACOSTE Outlet, Maxstudio Outlet, New Balance Factory Store, O’Neil, Original Penguin, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Super Dry, and Under Armour Factory House. Thanks to Sawgrass Mills Mall, we are now ready for Back-To-School. We will be making a pit stop there later this week for a few more goodies before the Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday ends. 🙂 Are you ready for Back-To-School? Have you shopped at Sawgrass Mills this week? If so, share with us your scores by dropping us a note in the comment section below.
