With the holiday season just a few weeks away, now is the time to start finding ways to make all those meal making sessions a little less hectic. If you been reading this blog for a while, you know that I am always looking for short cuts for making our meal preparation easy. Fortunately, nowadays there are so many products that can help us with getting all those fall desserts, dinners, and side-dishes done in a breeze! Today, I want to share with you one of my family favorite recipes.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Bars Recipe
This chocolate chip cookie cheesecake bars recipe is so easy to prepare and all you need to prepare it is 1 package of Pillsbury Ready to Bake Cookies (like the one pictured above), 2 packages of cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream, and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. And to top your chocolate chip cookie cheesecake cars, 2 tablespoons of chocolate-flavor syrup or mini chocolate chips morsels.
To get started, heat oven to 325°F. While your oven is pre-heating, Grease or spray a 13×9-inch (3-quart) pan or baking dish and press dough evenly in bottom. Bake the cookie dough for 12 minutes. In the meantime, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating and scraping between additions. Add heavy cream and vanilla extract; beat until just combined. Pour over cookie dough.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until set around edges and only slightly jiggly in the center when shaken. Turn oven off; open oven door 4 inches. Leave cheesecake in oven 20 minutes longer. Remove from oven; cool at room temperature 20 minutes. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours or until completely cooled. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Cut into 5 by 4 rows. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.

I believe in the power of fresh sage leaves to keep me happy and healthy. So with that said, I choose Spaghetti Squash with Sage Brown Butter as my dish. It can’t get any better than that. Very little prep time and good on the buck.
