We are a little over mid-way through the summer break and although school begins in less than a month, I am already dreaming of our next family adventure later on this fall. For me, fall is the ideal time to travel, the weather is nicer and another plus for me is that destinations are less packed. Making traveling with three young children a tad more convenient for this mommy. Anyways, this year we are dreaming of California for our next family adventure. But not just California in general, I am talking about San Diego California with its more than 100+ attractions that are free for kids during the month of October. Family Adventure: Destination San Diego
With more than more than 100+ attractions that are free for kids during the month of October, families can rediscover or discover the many things San Diego has to offer, from the many family venues, beaches, and all its history. Just imagine taking the day to explore the San Diego Zoo or The Natural History Museum or imagine your little explorers hiking around Cabrillo National Monument. Sounds fun, right? For us, navigating the blue seas of Mission Bay, Imperial, and Solana Beaches is key to enjoying a little bit of what California is known for. Plus, we are hoping we get to see some California sea lions and even maybe a whale or two.
San Diego offers tons of family-friendly adventures on both land and water and just thinking about all the many things we can be doing, makes me want to hop on a plane and start enjoying our time together. Though any time of the year is perfect to visit San Diego California, we will wait to inspire our wanderlust until this October with a trip to beautiful San Diego to enjoy the ultimate kid-friendly vacation!
