DISH Music is now available

I love, love, love to listen to music whether I am working on the computer or just sitting around the house doing nothing. I think my love of music comes from my parents, they are true avid music fans. My dad is one of those people that has a music collection and has his house setup to play music through his home theater system. Am I the only one with parents who are avid music fans? Well, I am sure not. Either way, if you are one of those people that love to listen to music throughout your home and are a DISH subscriber, we have something in common. And starting today, we can use our Hopper DVR and connected Joeys to play music from our personal library using popular streaming services, such as Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Napster, Pandora, SiriusXM, and TIDAL. Pretty cool, right? And the best part is that it is so easy to use, all you need to do is open your favorite streaming app on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet and choose to sync the same music across rooms or play different tunes on each TV.

How to set-up DISH Music:

• Download the DISH Music app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon app marketplace.
• Select which Hopper or Joey you’d like to use.
• Choose your music source preference. (Examples: Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Pandora, your personal library, etc.)
• You’re all set! The “Now Playing” screen gives you the album art and complete control of your music.
