Heads up South Florida, Disney On Ice Presents Reach for the Stars has officially kicked off its Miami run.

Hey, hey, hey South Florida, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Ariel, Sebastian, Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Belle, The Beast, and many of the characters from some of our favorite fairy tales are performing in our town through April 8! My family and I were lucky to have attended last night’s official premiere show at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, where we sang our hearts out alongside our favorite Disney princesses and princes. Disney On Ice Presents Reach for the Stars features songs from Disney’s Frozen, as well as, many of Disney’s timeless classic. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy set the stage for a star-studded talent extravaganza as Disney On Ice presents Reach For The Stars. Unleash the magic with royal sisters Anna and Elsa and the hilarious snowman, Olaf, as they sing captivating songs like “Let it Go” and “In Summer.” Life is the bubbles when Sebastian strikes up his hot crustacean band and the Daughters of Triton make a splash as they introduce Ariel in an ‘80s pop montage. Get tangled up with a chorus of harmless hooligans when they get a visit from the spirited Rapunzel and her charming ally, Flynn Rider, on their journey to see the floating lights. Relive a tale as old as time when Belle opens her heart to new adventures as the Beast’s enchanted objects take center stage for a dazzling skating spectacle. You never know what unforgettable feats your whole family will discover when Reach For The Stars debuts in your hometown!
As mentioned above, during last night premiere, we had the opportunity to be greeted by Mickey Mouse himself. Not only was Mickey our host last night, but he alongside Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy are the hosts and headmasters of Disney On Ice Presents Reach for the Stars.
During this dazzling and magical show, we got to experience a mini version of The Little Mermaid, Rapunzel, Beauty and The Beast, and of course, Frozen. The show kicked off with the classic story of The Little Mermaid were Ariel and Eric meet and ending with a classic fairy story of Anna and Elsa.
Although the entire show features key songs from the main four stories included when Elsa sang “Let it Go” the entire arena erupted in applause and it seems as though the entire audience was singing along. Yeah, that included me and my daughter. 🙂 It was just absolutely magical! So, what’s my takeaway? If you have the opportunity to attend one of Disney On Ice Presents Reach for the Stars performance, whether right now that they are in South Florida or any of their nationwide presentations, take yourself, friends, and family to see this show!
