What is the one thing that cannot be missed from your table after a joyous and delicious dinner? Well, if your family is anything like mine, the answer is a delicious dessert and an equally delicious cup of warm cafecito (coffee). This delicious time is called a sobremesa and in the Latino culture is a tradition. Yes, it is the time when dinner is wrapping up, but not everyone is ready to end the evening. Since we love spending time with our extended family, during this time, we not only get to enjoy good conversation but we pair that with a good dessert and that delicious cup of joe that keeps us going through the evening. Hey, I cannot think of a better way to keep our family bond strong, while creating new memories and as a bonus, keeping our bellies happy with delicious desserts and coffee!
