While at the event, we were given a challenge: Could you purchase Christmas gifts for a family of four, which included 2 kids and 2 adults for ONLY $50.00. My mission were the 2 kids, Family Dollar has many toys for $5.00 so I went to those first and I found Transformers, Flip Over Vehicle, Stacker blocks and Stuff Bears, all were priced at $5.00. I also found Hulk boxing gloves for $6.00 a pair, Amplifier & Microphone for $10.00, Box o Blocks for $10.00, Jake & the Never land Pirates Classic Hideaway for $10.00. I also found that Family Dollar carries the latest fragrance from Glade and Febreze. I was surprise at how much you can get for your money at Family Dollar.
I ended up purchasing one Barbie doll for $5.00, Play Food Basket for $6.00, two Transformer toys for $5.00 each, 2 Bamboo Christmas Baskets BOGO $0.75 each, Lavender Air Freshener Gel for $2.00, Mini Peppermint Candy Canes for $1.00 each and Two Danish Style Cookies for $2.00 each. I used a $5.00 off $25 purchase in-store coupon for a grand total of $25.98 which included a $1.48 in tax.

- Only ONE Manufacturer coupon and ONE Family Dollar coupon can be used per ITEM in a transaction.
- Duplicate coupons in one transaction are accepted as long as there is an item purchased for each coupon.
- All Family Dollar coupons must have a scannable barcode or valid promotion code.
- Printed coupons must be original (no photocopies) and have a printed expiration date.
- Internet coupons may either be in black and white or color and must be legible and read “Family Dollar” or “Manufacturer Coupon”.
