I love, love, love to travel! Traveling to me it’s not just about the anticipation of the destination but it is about the adventures that awaits us at the end of our flight. Just imagine yourself exploring the wonderful sights of San Francisco or riding the Seven Dwarfs Mine train at the Magic Kingdom in Florida or discovering the many wonders of Central & South America or crossing the pond and finding new adventures in Europe. It all sounds amazing, right? Although each trip is different, one thing for sure is that packing needs to get done before you set foot on the plane. Of course, this means that each trip will require different packing essentials and today we will be exploring Four Essential Things To Bring on Every Flight whether you are traveling within the US or abroad.

Let’s go for an essential “ride”:

  1. The number one essential thing to bring on every flight is your ID or Passport. All adults passengers 18 or older must show valid identification at the airport checkpoint in order to travel, so make sure you bring with you a valid Driver’s license or any other state photo ID issued by the Department of Motor vehicles or your valid U.S passport or passport card.
  2. Quality ear plugs (noise-canceling headphones are the best) is an essential thing to bring on every flight. Not only will it allow you to enjoy the in-flight entertainment, but it will also help you get some rest on long flights, especially when you are trying to get some rest on the plane.
  3. Whether you are on a short flight or a long flight, your electronics and their cables is another essential thing to bring with you on every flight. Many new airplanes are equipt with USB plugs in every seat, so don’t forget to bring with you phone’s cables to keep your electronics running comfortably throughout your flight. Oh and don’t forget to pack your battery packs, these handy gadgets will help you keep your electronics charged while you get to your destination.
  4. The fourth and final essential thing to bring on every flight is to bring your own Entertainment. As I mentioned in tip number 2, planes offer some free in-flight entertainment, but not much to keep satisfied throughout long flights. My solution to this dilemma is to bring with me my HopperGo. DISH’s HopperGO is a revolutionary new personal mobile video drive. This 64 GB rechargeable battery-powered device provides you with the ability to securely transfer up to 100 hours of recorded TV shows and movies from a Hopper 3 or Hopper 2 DVR for on-the-go, offline viewing. So, whether I am on a flight with my kids or own my own, HopperGo can keep us entertained throughtout the entire flight.

Just a little more about HopperGO: HopperGO creates its own private wireless cloud that supports simultaneous viewing of different programs on up to five mobile devices via the DISH Anywhere app. It is compatible with iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, as well as Kindle tablets. Capable of up to four hours of streaming on a single charge, HopperGO can additionally be used while charging. HopperGo is now available to Dish Cutomers nationwide for $99. To learn more about DISH or HopperGo or to become a Dish Network subscriber, visit the Dish Network Website here or Connect with Dish Network via their Facebook and Twitter Pages.
