Just before leaving to L.A for the #AvengersEvent press junket, #MonkeyKingdom movie review and L.A Zoo adventure, we received the amazing news that we will be visiting the set of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. set. Not many details were given on who will actually be there from the cast, all we knew was that it was going to be an AMAZING adventure. So much so, that for about three hours, we couldn’t Tweet, Instagram, Facebook or do anything relating to social media! WOW, I truly felt like a secret spy or an agent that day! 🙂

As we arrived at the ABC set of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. my heart was racing and I kept wondering who we will get to interview. The wait came to an end once the talent began making their way to the interview area. During the three hours we spent at the set of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. we got to experience many firsts, which I will tell you more today and later on another post coming up. Today, I want to share with you our interview with the talented: Iain De Caestecker (“Leo Fitz”), Elizabeth Henstridge (“Jemma Simmons”), Brett Dalton (“Grant Ward”), Henry Simmons (“Alphonso ‘Mack’ Mackenzie”) and Adrianne Palicki (“Bobbi Morse”). Plus, a sneak peek from episode 218, which airs tonight on ABC, I promise no spoilers!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Talent

Before I continue, if you haven’t seen Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., you should start tonight! This show & the cast are beyond amazing. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Nick Blood as Lance Hunter, and Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse.

ADRIANNE PALICKI

During the interviews section of our tour we were able to ask a few of the burning questions on the minds of all Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans out there, including myself! 🙂 No need to wait any longer, here we go…

Q&A with Iain De Caestecker (“Leo Fitz”), Elizabeth Henstridge (“Jemma Simmons”), Brett Dalton (“Grant Ward”), Henry Simmons (“Alphonso ‘Mack’ Mackenzie”) and Adrianne Palicki (“Bobbi Morse”)

If you have been watching Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., you are aware that S.H.I.E.L.D. has collapse and that Henry Simmons (“Alphonso ‘Mack’ Mackenzie”) and Adrianne Palicki (“Bobbi Morse”) are working for that “other Shield”, this is what Adrianne Palicki had to say about the situation:

Adrianne Palicki (“Bobbi Morse”) said: “Listen, I have my own views as well, but…she’s torn. You know, she’s been part of this other SHIELD since the beginning and she’s been with Gonzales, I mean, she saved his life, you all saw that. But at the same time she cares about these people. And she doesn’t think Coulson is a bad person, she just is concerned about where some of his loyalties stand and his, you know, alien blood and all that. Some concerns that we might all have a little bit of, we don’t know where he’s going with all that, but she cares about these people. So she’s definitely conflicted and she’s trying to find her path through all that but at the end of the day she’s a soldier and she’s been thinking that she’s been doing the right thing the whole time, so now she’s starting to feel like maybe these people aren’t being treated the way that they should be treated. And, you know, she’s a little concerned. I think you’re going to see that girl a little bit more.”

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Interview with Brett, Elizabeth. Henry, Iain

Oh, I cannot wait to see more! The second season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been filled with suspense and revelations. As may know, Fitz’s character has had some serious trust issues with Simmons, Ward, and Mack this season. We asked Iain De Caestecker (“Leo Fitz”), Brett Dalton (“Grant Ward”), and Elizabeth Henstridge (“Jemma Simmons”): Which character would he most likely be able to repair a relationship with?

BRETT said: “Anything can be solved with a cup of tea, right?”

IAIN said: “Still does have a good side, yeah. Um, yeah! Probably Simmons. I mean he’s got the most history I think, Simmons and Mike. Even when they fight and stuff and they’ve fought a lot this season, quite seriously, I think. But I think there’s always…I can’t ever see them being out of each other’s lives, really.”

ELIZABETH said: “We’d still like to see them come together in the episode that we’re showing on Tuesday, that they’re back to working together and they…you see that they still have that relationship where they get how each other’s thinking. Fitz knew that Simmons wasn’t just doing what she said she was doing. And she was giving him kind of coded messages through what she as doing, and him picking up the cue. So I think that there’s always…you can’t just wipe out history with someone. And these two have been together for years, so.”

My take away from the #AgentsOfSHIELD #ABCTVEvent

As you can see the actor also have their opinions on their own characters. These actors were super welcoming and although from the words above you cannot see the chemistry from their interactions. I can honestly say, that I see why this show has been such a big hit. Their chemistry is unparallelled and to me they seem like brothers and sisters. I would hope that this post gives you a bit of a glimpse into my experience at the set of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Adrianne Palicki (“Bobbi Morse”) said it best when she was asked about joining Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the second season.

Adrianne Palicki (“Bobbi Morse”) said: “It was nerve wracking because you’re ultimately you’re coming into high school, you know. Second year and everybody is already friends and, you know, I don’t know how people and it’s a huge cast. I don’t know if people are going to be with me. And I honestly from day one it was the most giving loving cast. I mean, it was a table read I met everyone and it, like hugs everywhere, everybody was so genuine and sweet and happy to have me on the show. And I’d say probably it took me about an episode to feel like I was w/Adrianne Palicki (Agents of SHIELD) – 5 had been there forever. There’s so much trust here and friendships and, you know, I’m going to miss these guys for two months. We’ll probably see each other anyway.”

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode 18“The Frenemy of My Enemy” airs tonight 9:00 pm EST on the ABC Television Network.

“The Frenemy of My Enemy” – A dangerous new alliance is formed as Coulson and Hunter turn to the last person anyone would expect – Grant Ward! As the war between S.H.I.E.L.D. factions continues, Skye and Lincoln will find themselves drawn into this conflict, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Guest starring are Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie, Henry Goodman as Dr. List, Kyle MacLachlan as Cal, Jamie Harris as Gordon, Maya Stojan as Kara, Dichen Lachman as Jiaying, Luke Mitchell as Lincoln Campbell, Kris Lemche as Ethan, Staci Roberts as Paula, and Trenton Rostedt as Hoodie Guy.
