Do you remember what you were doing in 1989? I do, I was in my early teens and I am sure I was playing with my younger sister with our dolls and enjoying the classic beloved movies like The Little Mermaid! When I was in L.A back in June for the premiere of Monsters University I had the opportunity to get a sneak peek at Carly Rae Jepsen new rendition of “Part of your World” and I feel in-love with the Little Mermaid all over again, I also found out that the movie will be released this coming October. Well, the day has come, tomorrow, October 1, 2013 the Blu-Ray and DVD diamond edition of The Little Mermaid will available everywhere.
This past week, I had the opportunity to watch The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition and I LOVED it, specially because I got to watch it with my baby girl. All the memories from when I was younger came back and I was so happy to share this movie with her.
Ariel, a fun-loving mermaid, is off on the adventure of a lifetime with her best friend, the adorable Flounder, and the reggae-singing Caribbean crab Sebastian at her side. But it will take all of her courage and determination to make her dreams come true — and save her father’s beloved kingdom from the sneaky sea witch Ursula!
