Making Memories in Miami

There is nothing more important than family! My family is my source of constant inspiration and the reason I strive to be a better person on a daily basis. For this and many other reasons, it is of the most importance that we recharge, reconnect, relax, and make new memories together whenever possible. How do you make new memories with your own family?

Making Memories in Miami

If you been following us for a while, you know that we refer to our experiences as family adventures. I think that we decided to call our experiences adventures because that’s what life is a complete adventure and you just have to live it to its fullest. This past summer our family traveled to Washington D.C where we had some amazing family adventures. During our trip, we visited the National Air and Space Museum where saw and learned about some of the coolest historic aviation aircraft in the history of humankind. You can only imagine how much the kids enjoyed this trip.

When I learned that the famous Thunderbirds were coming back to Miami after a two-year hiatus, I instantly knew that we just had to take the kids to see them and that’s exactly what we did! We loaded the car and headed to south to enjoy the United States Air Force Thunderbird’s F-16 demonstration team and a host of other aircraft from the air force.

While we waited for the Thunderbird’s F-16 demonstration to do their thing, we enjoyed some amazing aerobatics stunts from other airplanes and the U.S. Army parachute team. We also enjoy some of the delicious and yummy foods from the many different food vendors there. Hey, cause who doesn’t enjoy some delicious servings with a side of amazing aerobatic maneuvers?

Of course, when it was time for the Thunderbird to perform, it was like nothing else matter. Once we heard “Thunderbirds, let’s run em up!” everyone in attendance was just in awe of their finetuned aerobatics. As you can see from the images here, it was quite an amazing show that we will never forget.

But wait, did I mentioned that not only we got to see the United States Air Force Thunderbird’s F-16 demonstration team, amazing aerobatics stunts from other airplanes and the U.S. Army parachute team but also a host of amazing aircraft and pilots? Yes, we did and it was quite a unique experience to be that close to those massive cargo planes. Hey, we even got to aboard the 22nd airlift squadron plane and walk through its belly. How cool is that?

You see? Life is about the simple joys, the everyday adventures and of course, it is all about family! What would you do if I would give you $160 to experience anything you want today? I am not talking about buying something for yourself or your kids, but what experience or family adventure would you choose to do?

If you are thinking, well $160 is not a lot? But over time, this sure can add up! This is why it is so important when choosing a higher-yielding cash account, we choose one that allows us to experience more of these fun type of family adventures! With a family of five, I have to get the most out of my cash. Because of this, it’s so important to assess my options and determine which provider fits best into my own personal plan.

Some companies, like Vanguard, are built in a way that better aligns to my interests. If you haven’t looked at your cash investments recently, maybe it’s time to ask yourself some questions: “Am I getting the most from my cash?” “Does my financial provider have my best interests at heart?” This is why I invite you to learn more at Vanguard .com

  • According to recent data, if you hold $10,000 in cash, you could earn about $170 in a year, at the current average yields of money market mutual funds. In a bank savings account, you’d only make about $10.*
