I have been telling you since late February how Monsters University, the prequel to Monsters Inc., will be in theaters this June 21. Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan, Billy Crystal and John Goodman, are not the only ones going to Monsters University, that’s right yours truly has been invited to the attend the world premier screening and a Monsters U tailgate party in Los Angeles on June 17. You can check out the beautiful Monsters University invitation below. Honestly this is the most exciting, nerve-wracking, nail-biting experience I have encountered since having my kiddos, having said that, I know it is going to be a BLAST! So why did I entitled this post a new adventure for Miami Mommy Savings? Well this is the first time I will traveling anywhere without my husband and my kids and it is truly an overwhelming feeling. Additionally, this would be my third time on a plane, could you imagine? So make sure and stay tuned for more details, surprises, blog posts, Twitter & Facebook updates and more. You can also follow along the Monsters University premier via the Twitter hashtag #MonstersUPremiere
Mike and Sulley’s adventure will be in theaters nationwide on June 21 so please mark your calendars. For me all I have to do is keep the the kids entertained so that they don’t ask me every two minutes “how many more days until June 21”. I know my kids are so happy and excited to see the new adventures of the two friends and I cannot wait to see how Mike & Sulley became best friends. In the meantime and to entertain ourselves I have three new clips for you, enjoy!
“First Contact” Clip – Get a glimpse of Mike & Sulley’s first morning as members of the Oozma Kappa brotherhood.
“ROR Material” Clip – Sulley’s capture of the Archie, the rival school’s mascot, just might be enough to make him worthy of joining the leading fraternity on campus: Roar Omega Roar.
“OK Initiation” Clip – Oozma Kappa’s sacred initiation ritual gets an unexpected interruption as the members try to welcome Mike & Sulley to their brotherhood.

Synopsis:
Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (voice of John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer. The pair’s out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right. Screaming with laughter and oozing with heart, Disney•Pixar’s “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”), produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”) and features music from future Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and award-winning composer Randy Newman (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Toy Story 3”).
Disclosure: I will be provided a all expense paid trip to L.A to facilitate the review of Monsters University, no additional compensation was received. I was provided with the information in this post by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
