Our Summer Kicks OFF With a Super Incredibles Event!

Our summer doesn’t officially kick off until next Friday, but before my family’s summer begins, my summer kicks off with a super Incredibles event. Which means that next Tuesday, myself together with 24 other amazing and talented bloggers are heading to Los Angeles for a super Incredibles 2 fun packed event.

Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort, April 13-Sept 3, 2018 – #PixarFest
To kick things off, we are going to be visiting the Disneyland Resort to experience Pixar Fest going on through September 3, 2018. While there, we will get to enjoy the newest Pixar Play Parade, which features some of your favorite Pixar pals from Up, Inside Out and other popular animated hits. After that, we will get to fuel up at Alien Pizza Plate. But that’s not all, we will also get to experience Disneyland’s all-new nighttime spectacular, Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular, which includes dazzling projections, pyrotechnics, and music from some of our favorite movies.
Pixar Fest, the biggest Pixar celebration ever to come to Disney Parks, presents beloved stories from Pixar Animation Studios in new ways at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Parks. During this limited-time celebration, guests will celebrate friendship and beyond with characters and experiences from films such as “Toy Story,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “Coco” and “Up” from April 13 through Sept. 3, 2018, at the Disneyland Resort.

Disney Channel’s Big City Greens – #BigCityGreensEvent
As I said before, Tuesday’s Disneyland filled fun, is just the beginning. To continue with this incredible event, on Wednesday we kick off the day by screening Disney Channel’s new animated comedy series “Big City Greens,” which follows the offbeat adventures of 10-year-old Cricket Green, a mischievous and optimistic country boy who moves to the big city with his wildly out of place family – older sister Tilly, dad Bill and Gramma Alice. Cricket’s curiosity and enthusiasm leads his family on epic journeys and into the hearts of his new neighbors. After the screening, we will be interviewing the series creators, brothers Chris and Shane Houghton (“Harvey Beaks”), who also serve as executive producers alongside Emmy Award-winning Rob Renzetti (“Gravity Falls”). In preparation for Thursday’s Incredibles 2 press event, we get to screen INCREDIBLES 2 and the short “Bao.” Just thinking about this makes me want to make time go a bit faster. 🙂

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.
