This year we haven’t done as much traveling as we hoped for. But, hey there is still time to change that, right? Therefore, this past Thanksgiving weekend, we decided to pack our bags (okay, bag) and head on over to Holiday Inn hotels in the Doral area and have a wonderful Thanksgiving staycation. Great idea, right? I think so! Well, let me just say that we had such an amazing time; so much that when it was time to check out the kids didn’t want to leave and the best part is that, they are still talking about our staycation. 🙂
Our Thanksgiving Staycation in Miami!
Conveniently located just 10 miles from downtown Miami, South Beach and Port of Miami, the Holiday Inn hotels in the Doral area offers the ideal location for those visiting Miami. In our recent stay, we booked a very comfortable and spacious room! Our room had two double beds with very comfy and plush mattresses, desk, desk chair, chaise sofa chair, complimentary WI-FI, 37-inch flat screen TV, mini fridge, coffee maker,  ironing board, iron, clock radio, and hair dryer. Everything you will need for the perfect vacation!
Oh, wait I forgot to mention. But first, did you see the size of our bathroom? Not only was our bathroom spacious, perfect for the five of us, but we also had complimentary Bath & Body Works bath products. I love me some Bath & Bath Works Coconut Lime bath products! Anyhow, going back to what I forgot to mention. Did you know that while you are a guest at Holiday Inn hotels and you forget your toiletries at home you can request them complimentary? Yes, that it is true! That’s such a handy service to provide, especially when you have little ones like us!
An array of services and amenities are available at Holiday Inn hotels. For example, the Changes Bar and Grille restaurant at the Holiday Inn hotels at Doral offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and you can enjoy your meals either inside by the bar or al fresco in their newly renovated outdoor spaces. But for me, the best part about staying at the Holiday Inn is that kids under 12 eat free. Yes, you read that correctly. But, wait the Holiday Inn hotels’ amenities do not end at the restaurant.
Again, if you are traveling with kids, you know that you must keep them entertained at all times of the day. But, don’t worry, the Holiday Inn hotels Doral has got you covered. The hotel offers an amazing outdoor pool area, a fitness center and the best part, a sports court area. Perfect for burning those extra calories or energy. 🙂
Plus, if you are traveling for business, they also have a business center with computers, printer and Fax machine. Lastly, you know Miami is a great vacation destination and if you are planning a wedding or a business event. The hotel has the amenities to help make your special event a reality!
