This is why, I was thrilled to received an invitation by Residence Inn by Marriott to tour and enjoy an evening at their Miami Airport campus. Until this past Saturday, I had never stayed at a Residence Inn before, but during my tour & stayed, I learned how unique staying at a Residence Inn can be. Residence Inn is part of the Marriott family, they pride themselves in catering to families and business traveler who are seeking an apartment-like extended stay. Let me say that Residence Inn has the “Home Away from Home” concept completely mastered.
As I walked into Residence Inn, I was greeted by Residence Inn’s friendly front desk staff. Nathalie checked me in and proceed to explained my Allergy Friendly, 1 Bedroom Suite room layout. She also explained that complimentary wireless, wired High-Speed Internet Access was available in my room, which is a super plus in my book. As you can see from the image above, Residence Inn lobby is quite spacious, perfect for a rendezvous point with your extended family or a quick meeting while business traveling.
Residence Inn by Marriott offers two suite categories. I stayed in their Allergy Friendly, Studio, which has one King bed, one sofabed, fully-equipped kitchen including: cooking utensils, flatware and china, refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, dishwasher and cooktop. If you are traveling with your family Residence Inn by Marriott makes it easy to prepare meals in the comfort of your room. If you are thinking, but I am on vacation! Residence Inn has you covered. Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Airport campus offers several restaurants on site and a Starbucks for coffee lovers.
Residence Inn by Marriott also offers a 2 Bedroom Suite, this suite has two bedrooms with one King bed, one Queen bed, one Sofabed and two full-size Bathrooms as well as a fully-equipped kitchen including: cooking utensils, flatware and china, refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, dishwasher and cooktop.
Residence Inn by Marriott also offers suite upgrades to their Pure allergy friendly rooms, these rooms are equipped with an Pure air purifier, Hypo-allergenic pillow cases and mattress covers, these rooms are also sanitized with PURE Tea Tree Oil to cut down on allergy triggers.
One thing I really liked is that Residence Inn offers a FREE grocery delivery service, so when you are traveling with the family all you do is fill out a “Fill my Fridge” check list and an employee will pick up your groceries for free! Isn’t that amazing!? Don’t worry though, Residence Inn by Marriott also offers a lobby market place which is available 24 hours a day, no need to go hungry at 2:00 AM.
Start the day off right at Residence Inn’s complimentary daily hot breakfast! Residence Inn’s hot breakfast is amazing, you will find fresh fruit, fresh brew coffee, milk, juice, yogurt, eggs, sausage, hot oatmeal, bread, cereal, assorted pastries and a make your own waffle bar, YUM! Residence Inn by Marriott would not break the bank, one of their unique amenities I like, is that the longer you stay, the less you’ll pay per night. So, traveling with a budget in mind is achievable with Residence Inn by Marriott. I want to thank Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Airport for hosting me, I cannot wait to bring my family and introduce them to this concept.
