Santa’s Enchanted Forest: A South Florida’s Holiday Destination
As soon as you set foot on Tropical Park, you are greeted by the impotent giant wheel, the millions of twinkling holiday light, and the aroma of carnival food. YUM! Passed the greeting Santa on the entrance castle facade and passed the lined red and green-lighted tunnel awaits roughly a quarter of mile walkway featuring Holiday-themed displays, kiddie rides (such as the Merry Go Around), and food stands.
Here is a sample of the types of activities you will find at Santa’s Enchanted Forest‘s walkway: Christmas Karaoke, Holiday music, Lifesize hand-crafted Holiday displays, Christmas miniatures, Mistletoe lane and much more.
Here the entire family can enjoy the children’s maze, Dunk Bozo, face painting, an inflatable playground, paintball, surfing Santa, 7-D virtual reality simulator, waterballs, bungee jump, and even a climbing wall. But wait, before you leave this area, make sure to take a photo with Santa!
Culminate your stroll through this area by enjoying Santa’s Enchanted Forest Christmas tree including South Florida’s tallest Christmas tree.
One last thing, before you and your family, make your way to the fun rides, be sure to stop by and mail your letter to Santa. 🙂
Santa’s Enchanted Forest: The Rides
Santa’s Enchanted Forest has something for the entire family from the littlest members, for mom and dad and the teens in your family. For the little ones (under 42-inches), they can enjoy such rides as buzzing bees, Dumbo, Merry go round, wacky fun house, pirate ship funhouse, just to name a few.
For the entire family, the sky-high Ferris wheel was a huge hit with my family. So be sure to check that out. My kids especially loved seeing the different light patterns changes on the wheel itself. So fun!
Speaking of family rides, Santa’s Enchanted Forest is home to several different funhouses and those where big hits with my kids. Be sure to visit them all.
As I mentioned above, if it thrills you are looking for, you can find those here too. Make a beeline for such thrilling rides Himalaya, Evolution, Polar Express, Starship 3000, Wildcat, Windstorm and more! Wait, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Santa’s Enchanted Forest is also host to a variety of live shows. You won’t believe your eyes on all the different kind of shows. You and your family can enjoy acrobats, magic, motocross, and much more. Just be sure to plan out what you want to see, so check the calendar for specific showtimes.
