Today we celebrate Valentine’s Day! For my family and I, Valentines is about being with each other and making memories together. This year I decided to do homemade Valentine’s day cards for the kid’s class mates. The good thing about making your own Valentine’s Day Cards is that the kids can be involve and feel that they are doing something special for their friends.
When I started my little project I had no idea what I was going to do, the only thing I knew is that I wanted to spend the least amount of money on this project. So, the first thing I did was gather supplies that I had around the house to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. As you can see from the picture above I had plenty of supplies to do a very simple card.
This is what I did, I found an image I liked and printed on white paper. From then on it went pretty quick, I started by placing one sheet of white paper and one sheet of blue paper together and cutting the cards. I cut the paper down to side using edgers scissors, I made two holes using a hole puncher to hold a lollipop. I placed a piece of tape on the back of the card to hold the lollipop in place. I had the kids write a special note on the inside of the cards. They had fun and we ended up with special Valentine’s Day Cards! Have you ever done your own Valentine’s Day Cards?
