SpongeBob-Sponge-Out-of-Water

Since 1999, SpongeBob and his underwater friends have been making both kids and their parents laugh along side his unique laughter & crazy adventures. Starting today, you can join SpongeBob and Bikini Bottom’s finest residents in a new adventure. However, this time SpongeBob (Tom Kenny), Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke), Squidward (Rodger Bumpass), Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown), Sandy (Carolyn Lawrence) and Plankton (Mr. Lawrence) will not only have to leave their world, but will have to unite as a team to defeat Burger-Beard (Antonio Banderas).

SpongeBob: Sponge Out of Water

After Burger-Beard manages to re-write SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs and Plankton’s daily ritual, SpongeBob makes the decision to team up with Plankton. Which in-turn, propels SpongeBob and Plankton into a new adventure that includes time travel where they met a cape-wearing dolphin named Bubbles. In the end, SpongeBob and his friends have to re-write their stories and transition from their 2-D world to our 3-D world. Technically, SpongeBob: Sponge Out of Water is visually entertaining, extremely colorful and the transition from 2-D to 3-D is seamless. The plot of the movie is very  similar story to the TV series, so if you and your kids are already fans of the series, the movie will be a continuation of the popular show. Take the kids to see the movie and then come back and share with us their reactions to it.

Life is dandy in Bikini Bottom for SpongeBob Squarepants (Tom Kenny) and his friends Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke), Squidward (Rodger Bumpass), Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown) and Sandy (Carolyn Lawrence). However, when the top-secret recipe for Krabby Patties is stolen, SpongeBob finds that he must join forces with perpetual adversary Plankton (Mr. Lawrence) and come ashore to battle a fiendish pirate named Burger Beard (Antonio Banderas), who has his own plans for the delicious delicacies.

Disclosure: I was invited to a special pre-screening hosted by The MOMS & Norwegian Cruise Line. No monetary compensation was received.
