Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker Brand-New D23 Special Look Trailer and Official Movie Poster.
This weekend brought with it a brand-new first look teaser from Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. If that wasn’t fun enough, Disney also released the movie’s official movie poster. Star Wars episode 9, aka Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker releases in theaters everywhere this coming December. With it, marking the end of the current trilogy, which began with Star Wars: The Force Awakens back in 2015. The D23 special look trailer opens with footage from all previous Star Wars films up to today. In the trailer, we hear from Luke Skylware announcing that “a thousand generations, but this is your fight.” The trailer also features footage from Kylo Ren and Rey preparing for the biggest fight of their lives. But the best part of this brand-new trailer is the ending for sure. You can see the trailer below in its full glory.

As I mentioned above, not only did we get a brand-new teaser trailer, but Disney officially released the movie’s official poster. In the movie poster, we see Rey and Kylo Ren in silhouette with their respective lightsabers ignited while perched on a piece of debris. The background is been illuminated by bolts of lightning, which is highlighted in blue and red, which match their opposing lightsaber blades. Finally, the poster’s background filled by a larger-than-life face of Emperor Palpatine. See the movie poster below.
