Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Movie Review

Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael are back in a new adventure, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. TMNT 2 is the sequel to the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film and stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Alan Ritchson, Brian Tee, Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly, and Gary Anthony Williams. In a nutshell, this film is definitely better than its predecessor and in the words of my kids, the film surely resembles more closely to the TV cartoon series they are familiar with.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows in theaters now!

The funny, entertaining, and action-packed film is sure to keep the little ones entertained and for those of us who grew up with the classic 80s turtles, it is a treat down memory lane. In TMNT 2, Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael will battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox) and Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett). As well as, a newcomer to the movie franchise: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell).

After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.

~Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Movie Review~

After having watched the film with my Turtle-fans (that’s my three kiddos and the hubby), I can safely say: that both parents and kids will not be disappointed with it. It has everything you will expect from a Turtle movie: action, comedy, and more action. I especially liked that this movie has a heart, there are lessons that one must learn in order to grow and mature. Oh and the 3D effects are amazing in it too, not to spoil the movie for anyone. But one of those sequences that had me on the edge of my seat had to do with a plane.
