The boys have been back in school for nearly a month now and life seems to be getting back into a more normal routine! Last month I shared with you our newest parenting challenge or learning adventure, you can read all about it here. Having successfully surpassed that adventure we now are entering a new phase of in our life, now that our baby is two and a half things are getting a bit more interesting,… when the boys were little I learned that having a spic ‘n span home was going to be a bit of a challenge, back then my challenge was to manage to organize a two-bedroom apartment to fit the needs of two adults and two kids.
Fast forward to today, our needs have changed a bit… the boys have learned to keep their toys in their designated areas, that cannot be said for baby girl. Her toys live everywhere, yes everywhere! I try my best to keep them tidy up but her plans are different, my mother advices me not to sweat the little things and I honestly try to turn a blind-eye to the mess. Today’s challenge is to teach her to put back her toys in their designated areas and for her brothers’ mental peace, not to get into their toys. 😉 Here is my strategy: reminder her to put her toys back and encourage her to follow through. Hopefully this process will prove to be effective but most importantly fast.
