Whether is near or far, find out which is Our Top Favorite Family Adventure.
If you ask each member of our household which is our top favorite family adventure? The answer would have to be… Well, honestly, different for everyone. Of course, amongst the answer would be some of our top locations, places we have been to several times and others, where we are planning on returning very soon. Before we continue, let me ask you something. What makes a destination a top favorite family adventure? For your family, the answer might be the scenery or even the amenities or maybe the trip itself or what you did during your family’s adventure.
Our Top Favorite Family Adventure
So, whether it is the scenery or the trip itself, what matters is not where your adventure takes place, it’s about what made it special to everyone. So, if you are wondering which are our top favorite family adventures? The answer is as follows. Some of our top favorite family adventures… until now! 🙂 Include our trips to Puerto Rico, St. Marteen, Jamaica, Haiti, Mexico, Bahamas, and our most recent trip to Nicaragua.
But, what makes all these places top contenders to be our top favorite family adventure? Well, it was about what we got to do while there. From visiting historical places to meeting new people, to learning about new cultures to experiencing a live active volcano, and to eating delicious meals together. Just imagine, each location was unique on it own. But for me, it was experiencing all this with my family and most importantly, the kids. And why the kids?
Well, this answer is simple. Because I want them to experience first hand what they have read in books and learned from their teachers. Having said this, of course, you don’t have to go far away for a fun family adventure. For us, a great family adventure can be as simple as playing games (such as puzzles), reading books, watching a documentary, or simply enjoying a meal out together at our local pizzeria. Super simple, right? But always an adventure!
Hey, since we are always up for a family adventure, this weekend we decided to head over to our local Pizza Hut® location to enjoy a couple of delicious meat lover pan pizzas. Yum! While there we learned a little more about the new Fruit Shoot® and Pizza Hut® partnership with their The Literacy Project. Every time a Fruit Shoot® product is purchased at Pizza Hut® from Nov 10, 2016 – April 30, 2017, .05¢ will be donated per bottle to First Book, a nonprofit organization that provides books and other educational resources to educators serving children in need. Pretty cool, right?
As you can see, whether is near or far, we always can find fun family adventures to add to our list and now we even have another way help our community.
