December 6, 2012 by Ana

We were given the opportunity to review the Torani syrups, we received two different flavors, vanilla Bean and Pumpkin Pie syrups. I was not familiar with the Torani syrup as I am not a coffee drinker. My mission was to figure out how to implement these syrup into something my family would enjoy. We love Rice Pudding, for us it is comfort food that can be enjoy at any time of the day.

Ingredients:
3 cups of Milk
4 cups of milk
3/4 – 1 cup of sugar
1 to 2 sticks of cinnamon
4 teaspoon of Torani Vanilla Bean Syrup
powered cinnamon

Directions:
Place 3 cups of milk, 1 cup of rice, 2 teaspoon of Torani vanilla bean syrup and cinnamon sticks into a deep sauce pan. Simmer on medium heat until milk boils then lower heat to  medium low until rice is almost done, tender inside, stir every few minutes. On a smaller sauce pan warm 4 cups of milk and 2 teaspoon of Torani vanilla bean syrup on low heat, stir often, about 15 minutes. Add warm milk to the rice mixture and add sugar stir often until desired consistency, it takes around 30 to 45 minutes to be ready on medium heat. Remove the cinnamon stick and serve, sprinkle powered cinnamon. Store in the refrigerator over night and serve for breakfast, after lunch or dinner for dessert or snack. This recipe can be adjusted according to taste.
