Last month while I was in San Francisco, I got to tour Pixar Animation Studios! As a HUGE Disney & Pixar fan, you beat, I am still pinching myself! 🙂 If you are thinking, what an amazing place to visit? You have no idea, Pixar is truly an incredible place. From the moment I found out that we will be touring Pixar Animation Studios for the #GoodDinoEvent, I couldn’t contain myself. After having toured the campus, everything I could have imagined and a lot more were realized. Now, I want to invite you to come along as I give you a virtual tour of what I saw and experience during our tour.
Touring Pixar Animation Studios in San Francisco, California!
As soon as you set foot into the 22-acre Emeryville campus, an air of creativity, fun and excitement surrounds you. As you walk towards the two-story 220,000 square foot Steve Jobs building, you are be greeted by the two stars from Pixar’s very first short, Luxo Jr., which is Pixar’s mascot and it is seen at the beginning and end of every Pixar film. As well as, Luxo Jr.’s ball (or the Pixar Ball).
As you can see, this massive desk lamp actually works. The light bulb inside the lamp actually turns on at night, which is pretty amazing to see. The amazing bigger-than-life statues don’t stop outside, oh no! As you walk into the Steve Jobs building lobby or atrium, you are greeted by some of Pixar’s iconic characters!
Some of the characters currently on display at Pixar are Woodie, Buzz Lightyear, Guido, Luigi, Mr. Incredible, ElastiGirl (Mrs. Incredible), Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack! Plenty to see and so much to photograph. Oh, I am not talking about only the characters, just beyond the characters, you can see the display case filled with Pixar’s many, many trophies. And don’t even get me started with the second floor, unfortunately we weren’t able to take pics there, but trust me they are amazing.
Check out the statues in my Vine video!
Did you see the Good Dinosaur banners and art work in the video? Below is another look at these amazing banners adorning the Pixar Steve Jobs lobby. One trivia fact is that the Arlo banner is the actual size Arlo would be in real life! The rest of the banners are scaled down, because they wouldn’t fit in the space. Another, trivia fact is that Pixar’s art work changes as they are developing new films or “show”. Just imagine, you spent 4-5Â years developing a project, as the premier date draws near, you get to see the end result as you enter into your work place everyday. Great idea, right?!
Although, I cannot show you the two amazing galleries current in display at Pixar, one is for Inside Out and the other one is for the Good Dinosaur. However, I can show you two canvas paintings from the Good Dinosaur, check them out below.

Although, we spent a lot of time in the Steve Jobs building, Pixar has many other buildings. On our way to the Brooklyn Building, we learned that Pixar likes for their employees to relax and interact often. How do they accomplish this?
Buildings, were created with a open space concept. Another way, is by proving their employees with amazing facilities, Pixar facilities include a Olympic size pool, soccer field, basketball court, gym, a state of the art theater, pool tablets, a cereal bar and many more. Ahhhh-mazing!
I have so much to share from the wonderful two days I spent at Pixar Animation Studios, so stay tuned for more to come in the next few weeks and month.
The Good Dinosaur opens in theaters on November 25, 2015. Stay tuned for more The Good Dinosaur, because we also had the opportunity to  interviews filmmakers, animators and much more. In the mean time check out the following The Good Dinosaur clips.

The Good Dinosaur – Official US Trailer
“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.
