Summer break is halfway through; however, this doesn’t mean that is over. Oh, no! We still have more than a month to go before school starts up again and keeping the kids entertained can get a bit tricky during these weeks. During the summer months, all moms go through the same dilemma of figuring out what to feed their kids and how to keep them entertained. If you are looking for something fun for the kids to do this summer, let them have fun indoors, specifically in the kitchen. Grab a few ingredients and let them have fun creating eatable treats.
Wafers Cookie Chocolate Bars
Since I always keep cookies and crackers handy, I decided to let the kids have all the fun with these ingredients. All kids love to play with their food and our delicious Wafer Cookies Chocolate bars get this job done. Let your kids play with their food and enjoy it afterwards by letting them make our beyond easy Wafer Cookie Chocolate bars. All you need are your kids’ favorite variety of Bauducco wafers cookies and semi chocolate chips. Simple, right? Here is the complete recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Bauducco Cookies
Directions:
- Place chocolate chips into a heatproof bowl.
- Sit your bowl over a pan of barely simmering water (a bain-marie).
- Allow the chocolate to melt, stirring occasionally.
- Dip one Bauducco cookie at a time in the melted chocolate, remove and set aside until the chocolate harden.
My kids decided to make a Wafers Cookie Chocolate Bars doggie to enjoy as an afternoon snack. All we did was: attached a kisses chocolate for his head, ears made of tootsie roll soft candy, eyes made of toffee bits, and a nose made out of icing. As you can see this recipe is quite simple and full of fun for the little ones. The best part is that this recipe is super fast to make and you can even integrate it into your next birthday celebration and I assure you that all the kids would love it.
