The Children’s Trust Family Expo: This Saturday, August 24, 2013, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. head over to the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, Arnold Hall and Fuchs Pavilion, located at 10901 Coral Way (SW 24 Street), Miami, FL 33165 and enjoy a full day of free events, more details below or here Admission, parking, all activities and entertainment are free.
The Children’s Trust 2013 Family Expo, will host its seventh annual, FREE, all-day festival to provide parents with direct access to educational, health and social services, in a fun and festive atmosphere. Already the largest free event of its kind in our community, with record crowds exceeding 20,000 in previous years, more than 250 displays are featured in two exhibit halls showcasing information about education, after-school programs, nutrition, safety, programs for children with special needs, Pre-K registration, KidCare application support, and much more. Each hall also offers two stages packed with entertainment and theatrical presentations of beloved children’s stories, face painting, balloon sculptures, stilt walkers, magicians, and character greetings, including Nickelodeon’s Dora and Diego, Ronald McDonald and Curious George, just to name a few. Free backpacks and composition books will be distributed while supplies last.

Summer Play Days at Disney Store: (Through September 22) Also starting Monday, July 1 at 2pm, the Disney Store will be holding FREE summer play session everyday through September 2. You kiddos will receive a Mickey Mouse keychain after they attend 5 events and a Mickey Mouse watch after they attend 10 events, sweet! Call you store to find out what times the events will be offered.

TechTots : We will have digital story time, hands-on technology learning with TechMouse, and a snack time for children ages two to six years old. Join us in our Safety class where Tech Mouse will teach parents and children fun techniques for using technology wisely. Parent or caregiver must remain present.
